Here at Laguna Beach Recovery in California we treat all kinds of drug and alcohol addictions. However, we specialize in heroin addiction treatment. After owners, Lenny and Nicole, experience the tragic loss of their only son to a heroin overdose, they made it their personal mission to help other men and women who suffer from this terrible addiction.
Heroin is a highly addictive drug from the opiate category that is considered a depressant. While even short term use of this drug is proven to show noticeable effects, long term use of heroin brings on highly dangerous effects to the body and brain. Without proper recovery treatment chronic use can cause collapsed veins, an infection in the lining of the heart or heart valves and can lead to liver disease.
Heroin Addiction Rehab Program in Southern California,Because heroin abuse is so dangerous professional addiction rehab is vital. We help ensure the individual is properly detoxed from the drug in a safe and comfortable environment before entering our inpatient rehab program.
Once the heroin detox program is complete and the individual is ready for residential care, they will enter into our inpatient treatment program at either our men’s only or women’s only treatment facility in Southern California.
During their stay individuals will learn more about their addiction specifically and participate in group and individual therapies that will help them incorporate the life skills they need to cope with this dependency once they graduate the program.
Clients generally stay for 30, 60 or 90 days – but we have some individuals who have stayed as long as a year. We are here to ensure you are 100% comfortable transitioning back into “regular” life when you leave our inpatient program.
When you find yourself struggling with drug abuse or alcohol addiction and need help with overcoming the problem, an inpatient setting can be the right fit for you. When you are in our residential facility for treatment, you are completely immersed in a new environment that is an escape from the stresses and lifestyle that lead you to abuse in the first place.

While you are attending our residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment program you will be offered a number of treatment therapies and modalities. In order to ensure your treatment is comprehensive and considers you – the whole person – we include actives that will encourage happiness, physical and mental wellbeing.

Because of this they have forgotten how much fun it is to participate in group activities while sober. We want to help you see that life is fun. Even sober.
Because each of our facilities only houses 6 men and 6 women at a time, we are a very small group. This means we have the flexibility to just take off if we want to and go out to lunch, often times enjoying Subway, In & Out Burger or Taco Tuesday. Every week we go bowling or to the movies. Sometimes we decide we want to spend some extra time outdoors or we take advantage of all of the fun, local events our community offers. Often times we here are clients say things like, “I haven’t laughed like this in years”.
It’s so important that each individual learn to enjoy all of the fun and joy life can bring WITHOUT the need for drugs or alcohol. We will help you learn important life skills and teach you new thought patterns so you can go on, after treatment, to live a full, happy life that is free from substance abuse and addiction.
After you graduate primary drug and alcohol treatment at our center, we would like to extend to you our lifetime support program in the form of an Alumni Program. Lifelong recovery is the heart of the Laguna Beach Recovery mission. We know that the initial treatment is only the first step in lifetime sobriety. Next comes the hard part – the rest of your life. We want to be here for you as a continued support system.
Below are the details of what are Alumni Program includes.After you graduate you are always welcome to call, visit or even return for a short period of time – completely free of charge! Our staff is available to you – we want to see your continued success. It is important to us that you are comfortable reaching out when you struggle.
